I’m Ana, your
Connecticut Reiki Master

For years, my inner compass was tuned to one thing: “Do they think I’m doing a good job?” “They” were lots of people – teachers, bosses, peers. Success meant earning other people’s approval. My sense of worth came from the outside in. I let others’ opinions shape how I saw myself and how I decided my next move. I didn’t yet know that there’s another way to life, a way where your worth isn’t up for debate, and your purpose is something you feel in your body.

The Pandemic was a Turning Point.

The pandemic arrived as the complete reset button I never asked for. It came with two kids learning from home, a career that no longer fit, and a surge of anxiety that made just getting through the day feel like a marathon. I had never meditated or even heard of a “belly breath.” Yet, I found myself searching for something that could help.

I realized that Reiki wasn’t just my pathway to healing; it’s my purpose.

That’s when I tried Reiki for the first time. I didn’t know what to expect, but I left that table feeling lighter, calmer, and, for the first time in a long time, hopeful. I kept going back. One session after another, I learned to release what didn’t serve me, listen to what I truly need, and connect with myself in a way that felt real. Eventually, I realized that Reiki wasn’t just my pathway to healing; it’s my purpose. I trained as a Reiki master so I could give back what had helped me so deeply

At the Light House, I Will Hold That Same Space for You

Today my Reiki practice exists for one reason: to hold that same space for you wherever you are on your path. With me, you won’t sense any pressure to perform or receive Reiki the “right” way. (Hint:  there is no “right way” to experience Reiki.) My role is to create space to relax, let go, and see what shifts for you.

I am an experienced guide to walk beside you on your healing path. I got my start practicing Reiki in a healthcare setting – I worked with people undergoing treatment for cancer. After holding space for people on their cancer journey and those processing the weight of it in remission, I am confident that I can provide a welcoming, supportive, and transformational experience for all those with a desire to go deeper and live lighter. Whether you are simply craving a moment of peace or searching for clarity, purpose, or spiritual growth, my table is ready for you.

Why we’re called The Light House

The name is a reflection of what I hope this space offers you. A lighthouse is a beacon, something steady to guide you home when the waters feel uncertain. In the same way, Reiki can be a source of hope and direction.

It’s also a play on “light” itself: the light we all carry within, the light we return to when we reconnect with ourselves, and the light that helps us move through and beyond the darker seasons of life.
